Explore the Edinburgh Gin world with special-edition labels

Edinburgh Gin Special Edition labels

Edinburgh Gin is inviting fans to delve deeper into its gin-making world with special-edition labels.

The Scottish distiller is introducing the vibrant new labels on its Classic Gin from this month, and on three of its flavoured gins – Rhubarb & Ginger, Raspberry, and Gooseberry & Elderflower – from June.

By scanning a QR code on the label, drinkers can explore the world of Edinburgh Gin including an animated exploration of its botanicals, a guided tasting with head distiller David Wilkinson, cocktail recipes and more.

The limited-edition design for the London Dry-style Classic Gin reflects the botanicals used to distil it, including juniper, milk thistle, pine buds and orange peel. This floral design style is echoed on the labels for the flavoured gins.

Neil Boyd, UK managing director of Ian Macleod Distillers, which makes Edinburgh Gin, said: “Launched in 2010, Edinburgh Gin Classic is the juniper-forward London Dry at the heart of our entire range.

“With an original balance of 14 botanicals, we wanted to celebrate these natural flavours with a vibrant and immersive label which allows consumers to jump right into Edinburgh Gin’s ‘world of wonder’.”

The new-look Edinburgh Gin Classic labels will run in the UK and some international markets, and will also be rolled out on 1-litre Edinburgh Gin Classic bottles in global travel retail later this year.
