Nose
Fennel and vegetal notes similar to vegetable broth, with a little savoury brine, too.
Palate
A light, savoury meatiness with hints of caramelised onion, followed by zesty, peppery coriander and chocolate orange. Primarily savoury, but with other notes that add complexity.
Finish
Warmth from the alcohol appears on the finish, along with a slight numbing of the tongue. The final notes are long and peppery.
Comments
An unusual gin with character; pair it with Mediterranean tonic or, maybe use in a Red Snapper.
Score
7.2

Nose
Full on at first with earthy notes. Damp wood gives way to pine, mown grass and a touch of lime.
Palate
Warm and peppery. Ginger, coriander seed and cubeb berries are balanced by citrus and slightly herbal flavours.
Finish
Crisp and peppery with a citrus bite. Fairly long.
Comments
Big and bold with the strength of character to shine through most mixers. Try mixing with a fruit (grapefruit or orange) tonic water and garnish with a spiral of citrus fruit peel.
