Nose
Waxy, honey juniper with sweet strawberry, cinder toffee, and spice.
Palate
A marvellous, mouth-coating texture: thick and viscous. Initial salinity makes way for toffee, reminiscent of salted caramel.
Finish
Pine blossom mixes with violet and Turkish Delight for a soft, fragrant finish and lingering resin.
Comments
A lovely example of a navy gin; sweeter in style than many, but a welcome variation. A good choice for a single and small, but satisfying Aviation or Negroni.
Score
8.6

Nose
Aromas plough through the alcohol esters – pine, coriander seed, cardamom, pungent and earthy, balanced by citrus, rosemary and sage.
Palate
Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel. All the above create a powerful and complex spirit.
Finish
Long and buttery with a soft
fruity sweetness.
Comments
Everything you’d expect from a traditional Navy Strength that will
hold its own when diluted. Garnish a G&T with small bouquet of fresh herbs and a wedge of lemon.
