Nose
Floral blossom on the nose: violets, cherry blossom, and neroli. Vegetal and citrus aromas follow.
Palate
An oily character with plenty of flavour: juniper, citrus, and earthiness, along with a hint of malt.
Finish
Jammy fruitiness and marmalade notes, before the cleansing, crisp bitterness of a grapefruit note.
Comments
A solid all-rounder; the grapefruit notes would make it a brilliant candidate for a Bee’s Knees cocktail.
Score
7.3

Nose
It’s like walking through a fragrant country house walled garden in summer and wafting your face over the flower beds – heady and enticing. Hints of sour cherries, bitter orange/grapefruit peel there too.
Palate
Lots of sweet floral notes – violets, rose, elderflower. Soft juniper and spice well up from the back.
Finish
A bit of a bite in the finish as those floral notes die away.
Comments
A gin with a literal bouquet of aromas and flavours that would work in a floral tonic or cocktail.
