Nose
A splendid nose of coconut and tropical fruit notes, as well as the delicate fragrance of sencha tea.

Palate
A dash of sweet pineapple to start, followed by creamy coconut. Some luscious passionfruit-like flavours then develop, complemented by notes of coriander.

Finish
The tea tannins slowly build to put this just before the threshold of bitterness.

Comments
An unusual flavoured gin, but with well-integrated flavours that work remarkably well. This would be lovely in a highball or served with cola.

8.4

Nose
There’s a real tropical kick to this: dried mango, candied pineapple, creamy coconut. I’m getting real piña colada vibes!

Palate
The pineapple gets juicier and takes on a slightly floral edge. Coconut cream notes are keeping the piña colada character alive, with juniper and spicy coriander.

Finish
Dried pineapple and coconut notes seeing it out.

Comments
A lot of flavour married with classic gin character. It’s calling out for a long serve with pineapple juice and soda.

Score

8.5
