Two founders of England’s Sky Wave Gin have joined forces to write a book demystifying the world of craft distilling.
Craft Gin Making is designed as a guide to entering the world of gin production – for beginners and experienced producers alike. It is authored by Rachel Hicks, founder and distiller at Sky Wave Gin, and fellow founder Andrew Parsons, who well versed in the craft of distilling.
It offers practical advice on how to get started in gin distilling and how to progress in the craft, including details on different production methods, step-by-step guides, and troubleshooting on a variety of gin production issues.

Other topics covered include: a history of gin and gin making; necessary tools, equipment and ingredients for different methods of production; information on filtration, bottling and sealing; and the legal practicalities of producing gin.
