It’s nearly here! Valentine’s Day on 14 February is a chance to celebrate the loved one (or loved ones) in your life however you see fit. It’s ‘A Time for Love’ with Eden Mill

Eden Mill has teamed up with a collection of fellow Scottish businesses to create the ‘A Time for Love’ hamper. It includes bottles of Eden Mill’s pink Love Gin, its Spiced Rhubarb and Vanilla Gin and Love Gin Liqueur and a selection of premium pre-mixed cocktails, as well as chocolates from Edinburgh’s BonBox and a bouquet from Glasgow florist Mud Urban. Eden Mill is also hosting its first gin tasting and dining experiences with Glasgow’s Coia’s Café on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 February.
A soirée with Bombay Sapphire

Bombay Sapphire has organised a virtual Valentine’s Day soirée, a 90-minute experience featuring a virtual scavenger hunt, compatibility quiz and cocktail competition. Tickets (which can be bought here) will provide you with a hamper including bottles of Bombay Sapphire, Chambord and Martini vermouth, the equipment needed to make your cocktails on the night, and two personalised gin balloon glasses. There are three soirées taking place, from 6pm on Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 February.
Blooming marvellous gift packs

Bloom Gin’s Raspberry and Rose expression has had a facelift for Valentine’s Day. Special Raspberry and Rose gift packs will be available exclusively at Tesco until 14 February, providing a ready-packaged gift for the pink gin fan in your life. There are plenty of other premium pink gins out to sample this Valentine’s Day – or any day! – such as Salcombe Gin’s Rosé Sainte Marie, Mermaid Pink Gin or Edinburgh Gin’s Valentine’s Gin.
Tickled pink with the Local Gin Company

Craft gin club the Local Gin Company has lent a rosy tint to its subscription boxes in time for Valentine’s Day. It is now offering a Pink Gin box, with a full-sized bottle of premium pink gin, British tonic waters, and garnishes and tasting notes provided by the distiller. You can sign up for a monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly subscription, and there’s also the option to buy a one-off box.
Gin and cake from Shed 1

Ulverston distiller Shed 1 has collaborated with local bakery Ginger Bakers on a special Valentine’s Day cake. The pistachio, rose and gin cake comes complete with a gin-based drizzle, made from Shed 1’s Shed Loads of Love Gin, and is topped with chopped pistachios and edible rose petals to add some Valentine’s Day pizzazz.
Double Dutch’s proposal for engaged couples

While it’s not a gift you can claim immediately, mixer brand Double Dutch is offering couples who have had to postpone their wedding celebrations due to Covid-19 the chance to win 200 cocktails for their rescheduled special day. Each week in February, the company is awarding one couple enough Double Dutch mixers and Warner’s Gin or Masons of Yorkshire Gin to make 200 perfectly paired cocktails at their 2021 wedding reception. Cocktail kit and masterclass with the pros

London bar TT Liquor and Hospitality Gin have collaborated on a new virtual cocktail gift box, which comes with access to an online cocktail masterclass for you and up to four friends. Each box includes a 70cl bottle of Hospitality Gin and four cocktails and one Hospitality Gin & Tonic per person. Proceeds from gift box sales are going to support the UK hospitality industry.
