Slingsby Gin is hoping to cause a fizz of excitement in the gin market with the release of two ready-to-drink (RTD) options.
The pre-mixed cans, Slingsby Solo and Slingsby Spritz, combine the Yorkshire distiller’s premium gin with tonic, and with sparkling water and fruit flavours respectively.
The vegan, gluten-free Slingsby Spritz drinks offer convenient and low-calorie refreshment, with just 70 calories per can. There are three flavours in the range so far, each 5% ABV: Rhubarb and Strawberry, Marmalade and Apricot, and Damson and Blackberry.
Meanwhile, the simple Slingsby Solo G&T serves come in three flavours: Rhubarb Gin and elderflower tonic, Rhubarb Gin and ginger ale, and Marmalade Gin and Mediterranean tonic.
Marcus Black, co -founder of Slingsby Gin and its parent company Spirit of Harrogate, said: “Kickstarting 2021 with the launch of Slingsby Solo and Slingsby Spritz is a really exciting move for us. Our ready-to-serve offering doesn’t compromise on quality, and we use all our premium ingredients that our customers know and love, just produced in a convenient can.
“We know that low-calorie and low-ABV offerings are more important now than ever, which is what inspired us to launch our Slingsby Spritz range – we can’t wait to see what you all think!”
It follows other premium gin brands such as Bombay Sapphire into the RTD market.
