Spirituous on the nose, but understandably so. Aromas of lemon peel are accompanied by earthy and floral notes of violet and rose.
A rich texture combined with earthy flavours and a touch of coconut, then citrusy coriander seed and dry tropical fruit. All these notes are balanced by a juniper dryness.
Ginger and spice, and a delicately sweet earthiness.
This would make a lovely choice for autumnal or winter drinks and would pair well with ginger ale in a Gin Buck.
Boozy Christmas cake, topped with marzipan and fondant icing and served with custard. Allspice, cinnamon, cloves and vanilla with fragrant lemon rind. There’s a hint of that ABV.
Very spirituous. Creamy at first with more of those cake-and-custard vibes, which fade into allspice, cloves, coriander and preserved lemon.
It hangs about, tingly with a juniper bite to it.
Ginger ale or aromatic tonic and the right garnish could help to make the most of those spice notes.
