Nose
Juicy mulberry and green, leafy notes with the tingle of juniper-pine and luxurious, indulgent aromas of chocolate, coca leaf and mint.

Palate
A slinky and silky texture makes this ever-so-sippable. Dark chocolate and berry notes supported by a sweet leafiness and pleasant creaminess. There’s an underlying sappy flavour of cedar.

Finish
A dash of coffee with dry berries and a little woody spice.

Comments
Great mixability – a Negroni or with a splash of cola. It’d also make a handsome hot toddy.

Score

9.1

Nose
Damsons and dried cranberries, with hints of creamy walnuts and hazelnuts. Milk chocolate comes later.

Palate
Like a fruit cake smothered in creamy, mouth-coating milk chocolate. There are more hazelnuts and dried fruits, cranberries and raisins, and an almost port-like hint.

Finish
Slightly drying with piney hints and a bit more chalky walnut.

Comments
It’s beautifully sweet without being sickly. This could be a really interesting addition to an espresso martini, or the base for a spiky winter punch.

Score

9.2
