Nose
Luscious and fruity with plump notes of ripe blackberries, along with a little stone fruit and cherry, too.

Palate
More fruitiness on the palate, along with a hint of sweet mint and sage. These notes are followed by green juniper, earthy liquorice, and a hint of beetroot.

Finish
A long finish with notes of black peppercorns and the tingle of Tasmanian pepperberry that stays on the tongue for minutes after sipping.

Comments
An intense gin that could stand up well to mixing; I’d like to try it in a Bramble.

Score

7.9

Nose
ery classic: juniper, waxy lemon peel, spicy coriander, a touch of woodiness. Some red fruit sweetness follows on.

Palate
More juniper and coriander come through with more of that woody character – could be liquorice root.

Finish
Short to medium in length, dry, warming and smooth.

Comments
A textbook London dry gin that still manages to stand out. It’s calling out for tonic with a lemon and juniper berry garnish.

Score

9.0
