Nose
Bright and fragrant with creamy notes of lemon and refreshing coriander leaf too.

Palate
oft on the palate to start, then rather oily with a gradually building pine character, sappy cedar, and resinous juniper.

Finish
Jammy pine on the finish; quite plump with a gentle prickle of heat.

Comments
Intense and oily, this is a good choice for mixing with a classic Indian tonic water or maybe in a Red Snapper.

Score

7.7

Nose
This has a sweet edge, like fruity Refreshers. Creamy custard desserts and grapefruit citrus. The juniper is there but light, crushed rather than macerated berries.

Palate
The creaminess fades away into a piney juniper whack, with spritzy citrus and some coriander notes.

Finish
Quite drying, with more of that
heady juniper.

Comments
A Martini is calling, but I’d also like to just pop a splash of tonic in this and see if those creamy flavours open up any further.

Score

8.2
