Nose
Oily on the nose with mint, star anise and green anise, along with a slight leafy sweetness. After a while, aromas of coriander and baked orange appear.

Palate
Malty, slightly bready notes with the citrus spice of coriander followed by the sweet jamminess of rose, violet and geranium.

Finish
Oily orange with dark notes of rye bread and black peppercorns.

Comments
A flavoursome gin in a fruity, floral contemporary style; it would be a great fit for an Aviation cocktail.

Score

7.6

Nose
Worcestershire sauce straight off the bat. Sea salt, cracked black pepper and a hint of spritzy lemon. Some light juniper and a sweet, slightly orangey note follow.

Palate
Some tomato notes come forward, celery salt, some earthy spice notes and juniper in the back. A surprising sweetness then comes through mid-palate.

Finish
There’s the juniper – it’s coming through with a bit of a peppery prickle.

Comments
A really interesting gin. It would be rude not to put this in a Red Snapper!
