Nose
Candied flower petals, as well as the aromatic delights of flamed orange peel and, finally, some crème brûlée spice.

Palate
A mellow creaminess with hints of spice, like porridge sprinkled with cinnamon. This is followed by gentle juniper and a warm glow of citrus.

Finish
The lingering spice and citrus
of coriander and woody nutmeg.

Comments
A bold and zesty gin that would work really well in a Negroni.

Score

7.9

Nose
Masked by alcohol fumes at first, but beneath is a wealth of floral, herbal and earthy aromas mixed with pine, like a misty morning walk in a damp forest.

Palate
Bright, fresh and zingy, rich with citrus fruits, apples and pears and mild peppery spices.

Finish
Dry and spicy with woody apple and a peppery earthiness, medium length.

Comments
Robust enough to serve over ice with tonic or in a spritz (gin, vermouth and tonic). Add a spiral of grapefruit peel or a sprig of lavender.

Score

8.7
