Nose
Elderflower aromatics and the fruitiness of elderberry overlaid by a sprite of lemon peel.

Palate
Earthy juniper, with orris root – raspberry and violet. Spice comes through, followed by the start
of jammy elderberry.

Finish
Fruity, along with coriander and juniper. Quite dry and lingers in the mouth.

Comments
A nice example of an elderflower gin.
Fruit comes through, but still got a discernible gin character. Great in classic cocktails.

Score

8.1

Nose
Elderflower mingled with traditional gin botanicals creating a pleasant, lightly citrusy, herbal and floral nose.

Palate
Well rounded, full and creamy. A delicate, not too sweet, balance of elderflower with juicy citrus fruits and berries – gentle and warming.

Finish
Soft and smooth. Medium length.

Comments
The elderflower adds flavour to a classic gin style. Delicious sipped neat. If with tonic, try with elderflower flavoured tonic. Garnish with apple or lavender.

Score

8.5
