Nose
Lemon and orange marmalade, combined with Seville orange sponge pudding.

Palate
A great start of juniper and citrus is followed by earthy and woody angelica, then a little citrus sweetness that gradually builds on the palate.

Finish
Relatively clean, with more zesty citrus and a dash of bitter grapefruit.

Comments
A very refreshing and lively gin that would shine in long drinks such as a Tom Collins.

Score

8.3

Nose
A wonderful cocktail of fresh fruit juices with an underlying pine forest earthiness. Slightly savoury and grassy elements also emerge with meadowsweet and chamomile.

Palate
Full bodied and buttery. Liquorice, chestnut, nutmeg and orris root balances the sweet caramelised and stone fruits.

Finish
Creamy, sweet and nutty with a mild spiciness that lingers.

Comments
A balanced and fairly complex botanical mix that is approachable and would pair well with any tonic water.

Score

8.4
