Nose
Succulent fruit notes of orange, coriander, and even a little hedgerow fruit. Perfumed and enticing.

Palate
Creamy up front, with a sweeter character that works well with the fruit before moving to more resinous, spicy notes of juniper and coriander.

Finish
A clean finish of black pepper and earthy angelica.

Comments
A gin with a strong flavour profile and that would stand up well to mixing with other strong flavours. I think it would work particularly well with a grapefruit soda.

8.3

Nose
I’m already intrigued by this from the first nose – thick-cut homemade marmalade and a handful of parsley picked freshly from your garden.

Palate
Initial hits of the fruity orange marmalade appear, giving a rich mouthfeel. Then it’s back to the herbs with finely chopped parsley and piney juniper giving it the spice.

Finish
Exactly what you would expect: clean cut and lingering.

Comments
This gin will play perfectly when creating a new cocktail menu for your next socially distanced party.

Score

8.1
