Nose
Floral and fruity on the nose with aromas of orris and cut flowers: slightly stalky, vegetal notes before more perfumed rose.
Palate
Elegant and sophisticated rose notes with a mix of perfume and a light jamminess, reminiscent of Turkish Delight. This is complemented by notes of lemon and an earthy, sherbet-like character of violets.
Finish
Lingering resinous pepper alongside earthy citrus.
Comments
The rose comes through, but does not overwhelm. A good choice for an Aviation or French ‘75.
Score
8.1

Nose
A bouquet of freshly picked flowers, the scent you get on your hands from the stem, then moving to rich fruity notes.
Palate
The more earthy notes from the flowers have become strong powdered rosewater, making it quite heavily perfumed. This is met by the rich red fruit and a little lemon zest that stops it becoming too sickly.
Finish
Rosewater makes way for lemon on a medium finish.
Comments
I’d really enjoy sipping this with an ice cube, as rosewater is one of my favourite things!
