Crisp juniper from the off with woody spice and sappy pine.
An initially sweet start with notes of fir and cedar. This has a delightfully woody interpretation of juniper with a gradually building, resinous character. It is exceptionally sippable.
A dash of citrus on the finish, followed by slightly honeyed notes of pine.
An elegant, accessible spirit that I really enjoyed drinking neat. It would make a great Martini or Old Fashioned, too.
Refreshing and a rather bold nose, with light orange zest and earthy coriander seeds.
The earthiness is back, wrapping a core of juniper up in a herbal blanket of angelica and orris, with a nod to fresh pine.
The pine notes remain, with a little freshness on this relatively long finish.
I think this will come out of its shell even more with the addition of a splash of tonic and a peel of orange to pull out the citrus notes.
