Following last week’s spicy cocktail, we’ve got a treat for you this week with the Eastern Rose using Bloom Gin’s exotic Jasmine and Rose Gin. It’s got a healthy side (green tea and fresh ginger) as well as being tasty and pretty, if you go all-out with the garnish! The recipe here makes four servings so if you’re having a gathering (within current government guidelines, of course) or you want to treat your family, partner or housemates, this could be a good one to roll out.
If you’re going sober for October, this could make a refreshing drink without the alcohol – or try making it with one of these non-alcoholic spirits instead.
- 200ml Bloom Jasmine & Rose Gin
- 30ml lemon juice
- 150ml green tea
- 400ml ginger beer
- To garnish: 4 lime wheels, 4 ginger strips, 4 cucumber strips, rose petals
Pour the gin, lemon juice, green tea and ginger beer into a jug over ice. Garnish with lime wheels, cucumber strips, rose petals and ginger strips.
