Remember earlier this week, when the UK was basking in 20°C-plus temperatures? It seems a distant memory looking at this weekend’s forecast. But never fear, we’ve got a touch of summer to lighten the mood – if not the skies. This Midsummer Gimlet was designed by Anna Sebastian at award-winning London bar Artesian. It combines Oxley’s smooth cold-distilled gin with champagne and, with a touch of blackberry and ginger in there too, it has a lovely early Autumn feel to it.

Midsummer Gimlet
Ingredients
- 60ml Oxley Gin
- 25ml blackberry and ginger cordial
- Champagne
Method
Combine Oxley Gin with blackberry and ginger cordial in a chilled coupe glass. Top up with champagne and serve.
