Snoop Dogg has made his own gin – would you try it?

Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg has marked the 25th anniversary of his smash hit ‘Gin & Juice’ – by creating his own.

Feast your eyes on Indoggo Gin. Crafted with “laid-back California style”, it contains seven botanicals including juniper, orange, coriander and cassia and is infused with natural, juicy strawberry flavour. It’s a super-smooth, five times distilled spirit, and is also gluten-free.

You’d expect Snoop Dogg to go all-out on the packaging, and you’d be right: Indoggo Gin comes in purple bottles, topped with gold foil stamps bearing his signature and the brand’s logo.

It was developed by entertainment icon Snoop Dogg in partnership with his friend Keenan Towns of Trusted Spirits, a beverage supplier that develops celebrity wine and spirits brands, and importer and brand innovator Prestige Beverage Group.

A striking bottle of Indoggo Gin

Of the release, Snoop Dog says, “I can’t wait for the world to taste my remix on gin! When I wrote ‘Gin & Juice’ back in 1994 it was about good feelings and real experiences. When creating Indoggo, I wanted to give those feelings new life with an approachable, juicy gin that’s smooth like the D O double G.”

The gin will only be available in the United States for the time being; it’s launching in Snoop Dogg’s home state of California in late September and will roll out across the country through early 2021.

The team behind Indoggo says it’s a great gin for sipping on the rocks with a squeeze of lime, or mixing with tonic or – of course – juice. But if you did fancy mixing it into a cocktail, Snoop Dogg has got you covered with a couple of his own signature serves:

The Remix

  • 2oz Indoggo Gin
  • 3 muddled strawberries
  • 0.75oz lemon
  • 0.5oz simple syrup

Put all the ingredients in a glass with lots of crushed ice and garnish with strawberry slices.

The Laidback (Gin & Juice)

  • 2oz Indoggo Gin
  • 2oz pineapple juice
  • Club Soda

Put the gin and juice in a glass and top up with Club Soda. Garnish with strawberry slices.
