London-based spirits distillery 58 Gin is inviting fans to get creative at a virtual still by opening the doors of its Gin School online.
58 Gin’s Make Your Own Gin enables guests to create two bottles of bespoke gin to their own recipe. The online experience features a selection process to define your spirits’ flavour profile using up to six botanicals, a choice between a pink or clear liquid, and the chance to name your gin and personalise the bottle.
The recipe is handed over to 58 Gin’s master distiller to be brought to life using the distiller’s base London Dry recipe, balancing juniper, orris and Angelica root with your chosen flavours.
A gift box containing two 70cl bottles of your customised gin will then be delivered to your nominated address – be it your own door, or the recipient of a bespoke boozy gift.

Carmen O’Neal, managing director at 58 Gin, said: “Given that people have been unable to attend our renowned Gin School over the past few months we are now thrilled to be launching an at-home distilling experience. Now people can have the enjoyment of designing their own gin, crafted around their individual taste preferences from the comfort of their own home.”
58 Gin strives to be as sustainable as possible: it uses surplus and foraged fruits and 100 per cent British wheat in distillation, donates its botanical waste for compost, and using 100 per cent recycled and recyclable glass for its bottles.
58 Gin’s Make Your Own Gin is available to purchase through the distillery’s website and notonthehighstreet.com, priced at £99.
