Fans of Wildcat Gin will welcome a new fruity release from the spirits brand – which is also helping to support the LGBTQ+ community through Covid-19.
Wildcat Passion is a naturally flavoured, full-strength orange and passion fruit sister to Wildcat Gin, which is owned by spirits business Whyte & Mackay. It is the brand’s second flavoured expression after Wildcat Bramble, a full-strength blackberry gin.
To celebrate the new spirit’s launch, Wildcat Gin announced it would give away a 70cl bottle of the new flavour to the first 500 people who pledged £15 or more to Sink The Pink’s Pink Noise project, a trust dedicated to funding LGBTQ+ creatives hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kenny Nicholson, head of modern spirits at Whyte & Mackay, said: “As we continue to invest in innovation across our portfolio, Wildcat Passion is the latest addition to the Wildcat range, specifically designed to meet consumer demand for new, fun flavours of gin for up-tempo, after-dark occasions.
“During this time of uncertainty, with the launch of Passion, we wanted to pledge our support to the LGBTQ+ community and help them continue to be their fantastic selves. By joining forces with our long-time friends at Sink The Pink, we’re giving people the chance to support their favourite queer artists and raise a glass to everything they do to keep the UK’s queer nightlife alive.”
Wildcat Passion will be available at Tesco stores in the UK, with a recommended sale price of £26. Suggested serves include in a long drink with lemonade or as the base for a Pornstar Martini cocktail.
