It’s National Tea Day in the UK next week (21 April), so to celebrate, we thought we’d take the opportunity to combine two great British loves: a good brew and a tasty cocktail!
While we’re all familiar with iced tea or sweet tea as a cold drink, the infused beverage is not commonly used as a cocktail ingredient despite having the ability, in its many wonderful iterations, to match well with a variety of spirits and styles of drink.
Slingsby, from the Spirit of Harrogate distillery, has put together a selection of tea-based cocktails to mark National Tea Day. These recipes should get your mouth watering and your creative cocktail-making ideas flowing!
For this week’s cocktail we’ve chosen the Yorkshire Iced Tea with Slingsby’s London Dry Gin – combining two great exports from the county.
