Orange sorbet and lemon syllabub: vibrant, bright and inviting. A little creamy coconut butter wraps up the nose nicely.
Fruity and succulent. A full palate of citrus notes and the modest sweetness of melon. Additional complexity appears in the form of menthol, pepper and a clean leafiness.
More menthol on the finish with sweet pepper and grapefruit. Lingering and oily.
A lively spirit that’s packed full of flavour. Easy to enjoy on the rocks or paired with tonic.
Some really bright citrus notes come through on the nose immediately, like grated lemon zest mixed into Victoria sponge cake batter.
I enjoyed sitting with this for a while with refreshing citrus coating the tongue. More floral than the vanilla essence.
Closing out our time here with lingering lemon zest and a surprising appearance from baking spices to warm things up.
This should certainly be enjoyed long; there’s lots going on and the addition of tonic only adds to that.
