Nose
Powerful, bright, zingy aromas of lemongrass, with ginger, lemon, and citrus blossom.

Palate
A tingle of crystalised stem ginger makes this spicy, yet sweet. Lemon peel and floral, leafy, complex lemongrass. The classic botanicals then take a bit of a backseat.

Finish
There’s resinous earthiness that steers the spirit back to the classic flavour profile that gin fans love.

Comments
A well-made product. It’s fantastic when mixed with lots of ice, sparkling water, and a wedge of lime.

Score

7.7

Sam Coyne

Nose
Citrus and earthy juniper. Almost a tang of fizzy sweets and a floral aroma at the end.

Palate
Opens with two great big whacks of juniper and then lemon, lime and coriander. Out and out sweet; liquorice, orange zest. There’s Haribo Tangfastics kicking around in there too. A little dark chocolate sweetness.

Finish
Long with the citrus notes and the coriander playing the star-roles.

Comments
Punchy for a relatively low ABV. Each flavour is here with purpose, nothing is superfluous.
