Warner’s collaborate with Joules to celebrate 30 years of the British clothing brand

Neighbours and friends Warner’s Distillery and countryside lifestyle brand Joules have joined forces to release a limited-edition, specialty gin. The Joules x Warner’s Apple & Pear Gin was created to commemorate the birth of their brand partnership and celebrate Joules’ 30th anniversary.

Said to be inspired by sun-filled country walks, the new Joules x Warner’s Apple & Pear Gin is made with the pure juices of English apples and pears and hand-picked elderflower – one third of every bottle contains real orchard fruit juice.

The vibrant bottle is homage to both brands’ love of the British countryside and is dressed in the Joules Anniversary Cambridge floral print.

The gin has been handcrafted to embody the bounties of Britain’s orchards and hedgerows. Warner’s has brought together a balance of flavours fresh from the English countryside that make this gin as perfect in a classic G&T as in cocktails.

While Joules began its journey in Market Harborough in 1989, Warner’s Distillery – the brainchild of farmers Tom and Tina Warner – Warner’s Gin has resided at Falls Farm in the village of Harrington since 2012, just a short drive from Joules’ home.

Warner’s founder Tom Warner says, “As gin farmers, we are custodians of the land and rely on the generosity of nature to both inspire and create our farm-grown gins. We cultivate our own extensive botanical gardens from which we grow and harvest many ingredients for our gins and experiment with new flavours: we’re now self-sufficient in a few core botanicals and have big plans for the next few years to drive our sustainability and environmental goals. We also look to the natural hedgerows surrounding Falls Farm, where we can forage fruits, and collect fresh honey from our beehives. For our new Joules x Warner’s Apple & Pear Gin we wanted a contemporary take on what makes our countryside and culinary traditions so epic.”

“The way we make our gin isn’t easy – we’re aiming to be self-sufficient with our ingredients and work with local producers whenever we can. We often joke that we make graft gin, but always our commitment is to create the exceptional. We make gin the authentic way – it’s dirty hands, hard work, full hearts, a deep love of the land and respect for our community.”

Joules founder Tom Joule says, “We’ve known our friends at Warner’s for some time – we’re located minutes away from each other. As well as both brands being steeped in a love of the countryside, we share many of the same values: our businesses are family affairs, we’ve built ourselves up from nothing and have then remained staunchly independent.

“Just as I did the rounds of country shows and market stalls with Joules clothing thirty years ago, Tom and his wife Tina have worked around the clock to innovate, produce the best and get their gins into people’s hands; we’ve swapped stories on the blood, sweat and tears. Once in a while it’s important to take stock and celebrate how far we’ve come. We’re thrilled with Joules x Warner’s Limited-Edition Apple & Pear Gin – I like mine with tonic, ice and garnished with two fresh blackberries and a slice of apple – and we want everyone to celebrate with us!”
