Nose
Clean with crisp juniper and bright flash of lime.

Palate
Good, solid juniper notes mixed with citrus and some earthiness. A well-constructed and balanced gin with a pleasant mouthfeel.

Finish
Clean on the finish with a touch of residual juniper, a gentle glow from the alcohol, and a pinch of spice.

Comments
A very pleasant, well-made gin with an equilibrium between its flavours. A good choice for an elegant Martini.

8.9

Nose
A subtle raspberry note, before following with a faint custardy note that reminds you of fresh Danish pastries.

Palate
Opens with subtle juniper that wasn’t present on the nose. Raspberry too. Coriander comes to the fore, bringing a citrus note, before honey and barley arrive.

Finish
Middling length, raspberries topped with honey.

Comments
A truly tasty number. Good balance. Served in a berry-heavy bramble or with an elderflower tonic? Either way sounds good to me.

Score

8.5
