Nose
Rich, plump and fruity with great jammy notes of cherry and stone fruit. Floral hints of vanilla and almond.

Palate
A balanced sweetness on the palate with honey notes working well alongside a light tartness of raspberry and sloe berry.

Finish
The botanical character comes through well towards the end: juniper, resin, and a hint of citrus zest.

Comments
A clean sloe gin with a lovely balance between fruit and spirit and a pleasant brightness. This would make a fantastic Sloe Gin Fizz.

8.4

Nose
Rich upfront and nods towards boozy red berries. Christmas cake mix. Faint floral in the background.

Palate
A rich mouthfeel. Initially a little menthol, before opening up to tart berries wrapped up in a tasty caramel blanket. Subtle cinnamon adds a classy flourish.

Finish
Long – you can feel that coating mouthfeel. A little more tannic than you might have expected.

Comments
Fits with your idea of a sloe gin with a few nods that elevate it. Chilled with a large chunk of ice would suit me nicely.
