Ramsbury launches Dalloway Terrace takeover

Ramsbury, maker of single-estate spirits Ramsbury Gin & Vodka, has launched Estate of Mind at Dalloway Terrace – a two-month takeover that offers Londoners a taste of summer in the English countryside.

Guests will be treated to a striking English floral installation as well as a menu of delicious and refreshing cocktails using ingredients grown on the Ramsbury Estate in Wiltshire.

The floral installation will bring to life the wild flowers found on the estate and will include silk daisies, cosmos, larkspur, delphiniums and foliage to transform the Terrace and neighbouring Coral Garden. Embellishments of coral quince blossom will also act to  complement Ramsbury Single Estate Gin.

Inspired by the countryside, the seasonal cocktail menu, created by Giovanni Spezziga (general manager of Dalloway Terrace and The Coral Room) in partnership with Scotch+Limon and Crucible, will offer a selection of summer serves, all priced at £13.

Guests can enjoy ‘The Bell’, named after the estate’s pub, featuring flavours of apricot, black olive and rosemary and Ramsbury Single Estate Gin, and ‘The Estate Spritz’, boasting green apple, aromatic basil and sweetness from a strawberry garnish, as well as Ramsbury Single Estate Vodka, all on tap to offer a more sustainable serve. There will also be a wider cocktail menu, including ‘Ramsbury Reviver’, ‘Miss Dalloway Fruit Cup’ and ‘Wiltshire Snapper’, also incorporating Ramsbury Single Estate Gin andVodka.

The menu will also feature a G&T, which drinkers are able to garnish themselves using botanicals and ingredients from the Ramsbury Estate, such as rosemary, quince, dried apple, lemongrass, dried lemon and fresh lime. Tables will be dressed with bespoke wooden coasters and menus, and the bar will also be made from wood from the estate to showcase its unique closed-loop operation.

Mats Olsson, international director at Ramsbury, commented: “At Ramsbury, we pride ourselves on our traditional farming heritage but are always looking for innovative ways to improve, as shown with our 43-plate still. It’s this ethos that we call the Ramsbury Estate of Mind and from time to time, we also see this attitude in others. The Estate of Mind takeover at Dalloway Terrace will combine all of this and will bring the ethos from our estate to people in the city this summer.”

Ramsbury’s Estate of Mind opened on 22 July and will run until mid-September between 11:00am and 11:00pm.
