Nose
Very pronounced citrus. Pine forests. Oak barns.

Palate
Carries clout. Might not want to go 12 rounds with it. Actually mellows out with a little bit of time into something quite refined, with a little honey and barley.

Finish
Long – juniper and citrus, with more of the pepper.

Comments
Stands up so well in tonic due to its confidence, so good for a G&T. Garnish with a thick twist of lemon and lots of ice. If it was super cold, I’d say you try your hand with it over ice, but might not appeal to everybody.

7.6

Nose
One of the more fragrant noses I’ve tried, hitting you immediately with punchy citrus and following up with some light wood notes.

Taste
Unsurprisingly after such a pungent nose, this is packed full of flavour. The woody elements have become a lot more prominent which is really pleasant and fresh, then the citrus cuts through right before the taste of old wood hits you.

Finish
Long and fresh.

Comments
A really enjoyable and fragrant gin, it’s lively with a bit of punch to it.

8.0
