Nose
Waxed lemon peels. Watermelon perhaps? Something lightly fruity. Herbaceous, with a touch of sage.

Palate
Warming floral notes, poppy perhaps or lavender maybe. A classy juniper spine.  The early citrus note of the nose makes an appearance. Flavours are confident.

Finish
Lemon is pronounced on the finish, which is lasting. More herbal
than expected.

Comments
Manages to successfully go for crisp sweetness to earthy in one swoop. Easy drinking.

Score

7.8

Nose
Is that cucumber, it’s fresh, light and fruity from the off. A little lemon spritz keeps that freshness going.

Taste
Follows on from the nose quite unexpectedly, hitting you with a herby wall of sage, like you’re munching on a leaf, before the freshness of the cucumber and zing of lemon remains.

Finish
Long and zesty.

Comments
This could be pretty refreshing with a bit of elderflower cordial and tonic water, maybe a bit lethally drinkable in the end.

Score

8.1
