Nose
Floral juniper – imagine yourself in an country garden. Just a stone’s throw away however is mound of earth.

Palate
A gentle floral opening that is balanced out with a confident voice of juniper. Fruit flavours – mostly on the tropical side – come through too; banana and berries especially. Herbal – sage and coriander to close.

Finish
A little fleeting, but on the fruitier side of things.

Comments
Classy – control of flavours. Could make a great hedgerow Bramble?

Score

8.5

Nose
Floral but with a cinnamon stick floating in there, it’s almost festive and approaching chai latte territory which I am down for.

Taste
The cinnamon is still there and it’s warming and incredibly smooth on the tongue but the juniper makes sure that it is recognisably gin, while keeping its herbal edge.

Finish
One of the smoothest finished of the bunch.

Comments
A really drinkable combination of fruit and spice.

Score

8.1
