Nose
Juniper forward, followed by coriander and citrus. A little in your face. Cinnamon and cloves follow, before a floral note.

Palate
A rich and oily mouthfeel – a syrupy texture. On the palate juniper sits patiently while citrus plays the starring role; lemon juice before the fruitier juice comes to the fore.

Finish
Remains unctuous. Flavour is gone as quickly as it arrived.

Comments
Straight-forward enough. A safe bet to introduce to the parents. Could be a winner in a Martini with that citrus palate.

Score

7.8

Nose
It smells like I tripped up got a face-full of forest floor – I’m not complaining. Piney, with juniper following.

Taste
The pine isn’t going anywhere and I am loving it, it’s fresh and herbaceous with a smooth hit of honey and a hit of citrus to stop it becoming too intense.

Finish
The forest floor is left behind, but a small amount of spice lingers.

Comments
I’d happily drink this as it comes, sippable and perfect to sit back and enjoy.
