Earthy juniper nose. Liquorice and baking spices.
More of the earthy juniper, this time wrapped up in lemon peel. There’s a slightly soapy coriander note in there too. Pepper makes it a little more savoury towards the close of play.
Long, but actually fresher and livelier than the palate and nose implied.
Quite straight forward, without many frills. Tonic freshens up the juniper towards pine and brings through a fruitier note.
An interesting combination, initially hitting you with earthy sweetness, followed by some lightly warming peppery spice. Earthy sweetness and some citrus.
The earthy sweetness still remains as strong as ever, some angelica and works nicely with the light juniper. Still a citric zest, which is being tamed a little by the herbal notes in there.
Long, light and fruity.
Everything seems to be working in harmony here, works well with a little elderflower tonic.
