David T. Smith

Nose
Light citrus, followed by a savoury aroma.

Taste
A floral palate with herbaceous and aromatic rosemary. The flavours are rich and plump with a jelly-like sweetness and hints of coriander and orange, too.

Finish
Sweet, sappy pine and a continuation of the beautiful rosemary note: aromatic and intense.

Comments
A great, fragrant gin that really stands out. Superb in a Dirty Martini or with a herbal tonic water and maybe even a Red Snapper.

Score

8.9

Felicity Murray

Nose
A heady mix of culinary herbs, such as marjoram, oregano and thyme mixed with summer flowers, including chamomile and elderflower. Nicely balanced by a base of citrus fruit.

Palate
These floral and citrus notes unexpectedly fade away in favour of sweeter, spicy and earthy flavours such as angelica and cinnamon.

Finish
Long and juicy with a bite of tannin.

Comments
A surprising and very interestingly complex and richly flavoured gin that will bring a light tonic to life.

Score

9.0
