Nose
Soft floral notes on the nose with aromas of rose and hibiscus, and a little cherry and strawberry too.

Taste
A clean, but dry, green leafiness to start that makes way for some sweet citrus and a dash of spice.

Finish
Clean and elegant, like the palate, with notes of sweet rose, dark chocolate and a touch of black tea.

Comments
A soft and subtle gin with good flavours, but I’d love it to be bolder; lots and lots of potential.

Score

7.6

Nose
Just a hint of juniper and a whiff of cottage garden flowers, violets and lavender.

Palate
Much more is experienced in the mouth, with luscious berry fruits and redcurrant jelly, a touch of violet and lavender too.

Finish
Medium in length with the more rooty and nutty botanicals hovering.

Comments
Subtle, versatile and pleasant – perfect for those who don’t go for punchy juniper-laden gins. Aromatic tonics will compliment this gin. Garnish with lavender or redcurrents.

Score

7.8
