Nose: Classic and balanced earthy juniper with a hint of tart berry fruitiness, reminiscent of gooseberries.

Palate: Quite clean on the palate with an initially subtle character that gradually builds to a piney minerality, followed by light citrus.

Finish: Oily citrus with a little spicy coriander, pepper, and a gentle heat.

Comments: A well-made gin in a typically classic style; a little warm on the finish, but with good potential.

7.2

Nose: A pleasing balance of juniper, citrus fruits and soft spices, then wafts of freshly cut grass and culinary herbs.

Palate: Delightfully complex, dry and delicate, with lemon and lime, ripe juniper berries and cinnamon.

Finish: The bold citrus notes slowly fade away, leaving a dry and slightly herbal mouthfeel that urges you to take another sip.

Comments: Delicate in flavour yet robust enough to stand up to tonic water. Also, a perfect match for any traditional gin-based cocktail.

8.3
