Nose
A good, clean nose with woodiness and moss – forest-like, with aromas of rosehips and fragrant cedar.

Palate
The purity of the gin continues to come through clearly on the palate with a modest botanical intensity. Juniper is met with black liquorice and green anise, alongside a spot of fennel.

Finish
Coriander, which crisply rounds into a long dry finish.

Comments
A gin that has obviously been well put together; its complexity sits beneath its juniper prominence. A natural choice for a Gin & Tonic.

Score

8.2

Nose
Big and robust with lashings of juniper, juicy citrus fruit and a subtle earthiness; out of which surfaces mown grass, fennel and a touch of caraway seed.

Palate
Packs a punch, oily and full bodied, with earthy, spicy, floral, fruity and herbal flavours.

Finish
Long and clinging, holding all the above flavours and culminating with a hint of soft fruit.

Comments
Delicious, full of body and flavour. The fairly complex botanical balance will mix well with aromatic tonics, or in cocktails such as a Dry Martini.

Score

8.6
