Nose
Gentle spice on the nose, accompanied by juniper, coriander and vanilla.

Palate
The impact of the barrel is gentle and light; initial flavours of a classic London Dry develop, followed by oak, vanilla, and a gentle spice.

Finish
Zesty coriander and citrus with a hint of oiliness that lingers on the palate.

Comments
A fine example of a lightly rested, rather than an aged, gin that would be great in a Gin and Tonic or Martini.

Score

8.2

Nose
Juniper and herbal notes cut through the nutty and vanilla aromas. Pine and bay leaves mingle with hazelnut and honeysuckle. Orange marmalade notes linger.

Palate
Subtle and delicate mix of spicy, herbal and sweet citrus flavours with a touch of honey.

Finish
Bittersweet, but then a warm honeyed Seville orange softness fills the mouth.

Comments
A nicely balanced, warming and citrusy sweet gin to sip neat, with or without ice, and a perfect partner for a Negroni.

Score

8.5
