A new expression has been released by Porter’s Gin – Tropical Old Tom.
Historically Old Tom gin is considered the bridge between sweet genevers and drier London Dry gins. For the Tropical Old Tom blend, Porter’s builds on its juniper base by cold distilling the tropical botanicals in order to retain freshness.
It’s then slightly sweetened to create a clear gin.
Porter’s claims that the employment of tropical cold-distilled botanicals ensures a lighter, fresher taste.
Launching this autumn, Tropical Old Tom is available to buy from the Porter’s Gin website www.portersgin.co.uk and has an RRP of £38.
