Nose
Vegetal, with leaves and a salinity you associate with coastal plants. Nutty, woody eathiness, too.

Palate
Deep chocolate notes, which are met with green mint and menthol pepper. The citrus bursts forth with some leafy notes, too.

Finish
Chocolate orange adds a dusky sweetness, and the sparkle of menthol pepper, reminiscent of cubeb or pepperberry, which lingers.

Comments
A nice combination of citrus and pepperiness, which lends itself to savoury cocktails such as the Red Snapper.

Score

7.6

Nose
Earthy and woody with resinous notes of frankincense, spruce, juniper and dusty angelica. Then a tinge of green herbs with thyme, basil, sage and mint emerges.

Palate
Pine and cedar is followed by a touch of sweet lemon with some herbal and minty notes.

Finish
Buttery smooth and fairly long with a slightly sweet and herbaceous end.

Comments
Lacks a little balance and complexity but would perhaps work well with fruit flavoured mixers or with a red vermouth.

Score

7.2
