Nose
Indulgent, sweet baking spice – cassia, nutmeg and ginger. Overall, the impression given is that of an iced gingerbread man.

Palate
Dry citrus to start, combined with coriander seed, before booming spice, which is both comforting and inviting.

Finish
A spicy finish of red cinnamon and a light, woody pepper.

Comments
An exceptionally spicy gin; sweet and accessible, it would mix well with ginger ale or in an Old Fashioned or Gin Toddy.

Score

8.1

Nose
Tropical fruits with rich fruitcake aromas of sultanas, almonds, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom and cloves.

Palate
Follows on from the nose – big and bold, creamy, juicy and hugely spicy with cinnamon and sweet Italian panettone cake.

Finish
Very long and satisfying, warm, sweet and buttery with all the flavours lingering.

Comments
‘Love ‘em or hate ‘em’ spices.  Garnish a G&T with a complimentary cinnamon stick or balance the mix with slice of orange.

Score

8.0
