Felicity Murray – 9.4
Nose: Juniper, almonds, lemon peel, peppercorns, and a slight mustiness.
Palate: Balanced and smooth. Flavours evolve with citrus to start then peppery spices that bestow a gentle warmth, leaving a hint of vanilla, grain and wood.
Finish: Pleasant with juniper, vanilla and sweet liquorice.
Comments: Could easily be sipped neat. Subtle flavours are warming without being too ginny or with alcohol burn. Shake with ice, pour through a strainer into a martini glass and garnish with loganberry.
